Who are the REC?
The REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) is the professional body for all recruitment agencies. It was formed from the merger of the IEC
(Institute of Employment Consultants) and FRES (Federation of Recruitment & Employment Services) to form a single unified professional body that represented
all recruitment agencies.
Although Bradley CVs is not a member of the REC (because we are a CV writing service rather than a recruitment agency), our Managing Director is a member
of the REC. This means that we (Bradley CVs) receive the latest industry news, knowledge and research on the jobs market, plus we gain an excellent insight
into what recruitment agencies are looking for from job applicants. This enable us to produce a better CV for you that more closely meets the needs of
the recruitment agencies that you will send your CV to.
Who are the CIPD?
The CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development) is the professional body for people within personnel / HR and development. Our Managing
Director is a member of the CIPD, which ensures that we can feed the latest thinking on recruitment practice into your CV. The CIPD produces countless
surveys, reports and research on recruitment and organisational needs. This gives us extra insight into how the people handling the vacancy you are applying
for (HR professionals) think, which allows us to produce a CV for you that more closely matches the needs of these HR professionals when they are looking
to fill a job vacancy.
