As part of internet portal Yahoo, hot jobs is as big as it gets. You can "search for jobs across the web" and access hundreds of thousands of USA based jobs. Most of these are advertised on the site, but Yahoo also locates other jobs from the web that might match your needs. It also provides access to a more limited range of international jobs.

The job search facility on HotJobs is extremely extensive. Browse by industrial sector or state. Conduct a search by keyword, job category, state, salary, experience level required, kind of advertiser, and date advert posted. You can exclude words, or search for exact phrases. A highly developed benefit is that the search will also return jobs that have similar titles to the ones you're looking for.

You can save your job search criteria, along with adverts that interest you. If you register with Yahoo, you can upload your existing CV / resume or build a new one using the job site's templates. You can save and edit up to 10 different versions. You can even create your own personal CV / resume web page, where prospective employers can view it. You can also ask to receive the regular HotJobs newsletter. Yahoo has an excellent Help service to guide you through all the services available, so don't be too daunted by visually busy screens.

Given the immensity Hot Jobs and the huge number of jobs advertised, it's recommended that you do some research first - the more specific you can be in your search criteria, the more likely you'll get a manageable number of relevant results.
